This poem is about the human tendency to blame anything and everything but yourself in any given situation. Blaming your unhappyness on things like the government, a romantic parterne, your job, and your family is extremely easy for anyone to do. Yet, trying to blame your own self for being in anygiving situation can be one of the harders thigns a person can do. But facing yourself in the mirror is necessary if you want anything in your life to change. Enjoy.
It’s spending most of our days.
Running away from the past.
It’s stopping to fear the future.
Just to simply let the present bypass,
It’s the resentment of the kinfolk.
It’s the jealousy fueling sibling rivalry.
It’s failing to live up to those expectations.
It’s becoming the black sheep in your family.
It’s the people that leave when you at your worst,
That avoids extending a hand to help you up rise.
It’s when they come back around when you’re doing well.
It’s all those conditional relationship that I despise.

Its Islam, Atheism, Protestantism, and Daoism
It’s fighting those inner demons that live within.

Its Marxism, Stalinism, Socialism, Communism.
It’s Anarchism, Totalitarianism, Utopianism, Capitalism.
It’s the tools of control to regulate a society.
It understands the flaws in every political philosophy.
It’s the Social Regulations, Elections and the Representation,
It’s the people having no will to change the nation.
It’s Americana slowly becoming a nightmare.
It’s why so many have given up on the dream
It’s all the robots in our systematic society.
It’s their struggle to maintain a nine to five.
It’s why they’re slowly dying on the inside.
It’s why they don’t feel alive. ]
It’s all of those naive idealists.
It’s all of those cynical realists.
It’s the majority that’s apathetic.
It’s why people fail to coexist.
It’s the blissfulness of success.
It’s the rawness of rock bottom.
It’s the nonchalant of mediocre

It’s the anger, the frustration, the depression
It’s masked by our plastic reputation
It’s a smile, a wave, a “hey how are you”.
It’s constantly repeated until the day is through.
It’s the cigarettes smoke filling our lungs.
It’s the lines of coke and marijuana shot guns.
It’s the beer, the wine, and shots of bourbon.
It’s bottling up those repressed emotions.
It’s the fear of commitment.
It’s the bitter resentment.
It’s the temporary satisfaction of casual sex.
It’s all produced from the fear of loneliness
It’s the self-worth produced by money.
It’s the self-esteem created by outer beauty.
It’s projecting a false since of authority.
It’s having all those trivial insecurities.
It’s running away from your identity.
It’s sacrificing your individuality.
